Introduction

The primary message of the Bible is that God came into this world as a man, Jesus, to save the world.

Without God, the world is meaningless. (Refer "Inevitability of God.")

According to the Bible, God made the world, filled with everything good, and let man enjoy its relationship with God, with each other, and with all other creation.

But man forgot God, ignored God's words and lived in selfishness. The result is a world filled with everything evil, greedy, and hatred.

Murder, rape, stealing, etc. are not the only evil in God's sight.

Hatred, envy, discord, deceit, gossips, heartless, etc. are also the same evil.

The Bible tells that God has determined a day to punish man who has rebelled against God and are filled with evil.

But the Bible also tells that God loved man and prepare a way for him to turn to God.

Jesus Christ is the way.

Jesus obeyed God in every way. There was no evil in him.

And yet, Jesus was forsaken by God on the cross. He cried out, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?"

Why?

The Bible tells that Jesus is God who became a man and came into this world to take the punishment that man deserves.

Because Jesus has already took the punishment, he who trust in Jesus will not see God's punishment and will be accepted by God.

The Bible tells that whatever a man has committed sins in the past, God will forgive him and accept him.

But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 5:8 (ESV)

God's instructions can be summarized into only two commandments.

You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.
Mark 12:30 (ESV)
You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
Mark 12:31 (ESV)

Yet it is unavoidable for a man to forget God and be selfish daily. The Bible also tells that a man will never be perfect while he is in this current world.

But if a man keeps trusting in God's love shown in Jesus's death on the cross, the Bible promises that he will be accepted by God in this world and in the world to come.

It is comforting to know that God instructs us how we are to live in this world.

It is comforting to know that God loves us no matter who would abandon us.

It is comforting to know that God accepts us no matter what would happen to us, no matter how much we might fail.

To know God's love is the best thing that has happened to my life

In this web site, I would like to share what I have pondered about messages of the Bible.
